Veterinarians Dog Saved The Life Of Another Dog That Needed Emergency Treatment

Gemma is a Mastiff cross who just happens to belong to the head veterinarian at Sutterton Hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire, UK. She usually spends her days at the hospital, greeting visitors who come in.

But one day, this brave dog saved the life of another dog – an 11-year-old Dachshund named Ni Ni.

Ni Ni came into the hospital in pretty bad shape. He had been diagnosed with a blood condition a year and a half ago, but has managed to continue his stable condition.

Now he was very weak. His color was off. He was diagnosed as anemic and was given medication to help with that.

A few days later Ni Ni wasn’t recovering. The veterinarian did another blood test, which showed a dramatic decrease in his red blood cells.
