These three sweet newborn pit bull puppies were dropped off at a shelter. They were so young their eyes weren’t even opened yet.
I’ll never understand how somebody could just throw away something as cute and adorable as these puppies are.
So, the thing is, most shelters are not equipped to provide the around the clock care that newborns require. They just don’t have the staff for it. So the shelter called in Vet Ranch.
What a stroke of luck that was for these dogs. Vet Ranch loves all creatures and will do whatever it takes to help them.
These puppies were hungry and, because they were so young, needed to be fed every couple of hours and to be stimulated to go to the bathroom. They also needed to be treated for fleas.
Dr. Carrie treated these three puppies, and even took them home to care for them overnight. The puppies were later named River, Willow and Meadow, and Dr. Carrie showcases them in the video below.
Shortly after the puppies came in, they started to open their eyes and got their first bath. They are so darn cute, I want to take all three!
I’m so happy that Vet Ranch stepped in to take care of these puppies. Thankfully there are still lots of good people in the world today.
