When Hope for Paws got the call to rescue two dogs living on a trash heap in Los Angeles, they were prepared for a tricky rescue.
But as it turns out, this rescue was easy, breezy, and beyond precious! Eldad Hagar, founder of Hope of Paws, has rescued thousands of dogs and even he was surprised to see how easy this rescue turned out to be.
When Eldad and Lisa arrived at the scene, they found a female poodle and a male terrier-mix. The two dogs had become inseparable best friends and relied on each other for strength and survival.
Workers in the area had been feeding the strays for two months.
When rescuers showed up, the two dogs were clearly ready for their new beginning as long as they could stay together.
The two dogs were not afraid of people at all. In fact, they were very friendly, making it easy for Eldad and Lisa to pick them up and take them away for a chance of a new life.
As soon as the two dogs felt the love the rescuers had to them, they were happy to be rescued.
