When a car hit a homeless pit bull dog, she was in a lot of pain and was terrified of letting anyone get near enough to help her. But finally she realized that was exactly what she needed.
An animal rescue organization in Los Angeles, Hope For Paws, received a call about the dog being hit by a car. The woman who saw the dog get hit, Sonja Flores, made the call and then stayed with her until rescuers arrived.
Being a dog rescuer has got to be a tough job. I’m sure they walk into all kinds of situations and have to take every precaution to not be attacked by these terrified dogs.
The dog, later named Jezebel, was hiding under a parked car, too scared and injured to do much else. She was terrified, and every time a car passed by, she startled.
Rescuers knew this was not going to be an easy job to get her out from under the car. Luckily Eldad Hagar and his team were experts. They had to be careful, but they knew exactly what to do.
