Some people believe that dogs don’t experience emotions, or that they don’t have feelings like people do. But then things like this come along and prove otherwise.
Some people also believe that many rescue dogs have emotional issues that make it hard for them to get along in their new family.
But the truth is… sometimes it just takes a little bit of time for the dog to warm up to the new family. Many dogs have so much love and affection to offer, but they’ve been hurt or abandoned, and need to know you’re not going to do that to them too.
And then there are dogs that fall in love with and bond with their new families instantly, as soon as the meet them.
Dogs can be independent when they have to. But they weren’t intended to be. Dogs in nature are part of a family – the pack. Family is very important to a dog.
Most people underestimate just how important that family is…
This lovable dog had spent her past two weeks in a shelter. She was lonely, bored, and felt abandoned.
She was so grateful to her new dad for adopting her and bringing her home, she couldn’t stop kissing him and wagging her tail. This adorable dog loves her new daddy, and apparently has no intentions of ever letting him go.
