Sue said in an interview, “I thought, ‘How much trouble can a Jack Russell be?’ By the time he was five months old, he was bigger than any Jack Russell he came across at the park and he had this big tongue that lolled out of his mouth and a tail like a baseball bat.”
The dog is so huge, they have to use a horse blanket to keep him warm when it’s cold. The horse blanket fits him pretty well, where any other dog would drown under it.
But the dog’s size doesn’t get in his way much. He’s become great friends with the neighbor’s cat, Toffee. The cat comes by to cuddle and relax with the dog. Aren’t they just adorable together!
Feeding this dog is not cheap! Sue and Robert spend about $235 each month just to keep him fed. Check out that amazing spread just for one dog – scrambled eggs and sausage!
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to bring home a tiny puppy that you’re expecting to stay small and then have it turn into this giant!
But he’s such a sweet dog, and Sue and Robert and their family have fallen in love. And in the end, that’s what really matters, right!?! I’m sure glad they worked it out. This looks like a dog that has a lot of love to give.
