This adorable little Jack Russell Terrier dog had a rough day at the Crufts 2017 Dog Show in Birmingham, England. He blew it right out of the gate, but that didn’t stop him from having a great time running the course!
In the United Kingdom, dog shows are taken very seriously. Dogs spend years and years in training before they’re ready for the big event.
But this dog, competing in the “Rescue Dog Agility” category, went all out, full of enthusiasm, and had the time of his life.
The dog’s name is Olly. As a 10-week-old puppy, he was dumped on the steps of a shelter because nobody wanted him. Poor little puppy!
The shelter took good care of the puppy and gave him lots of love. He was adopted into a forever home to live with his new loving owner, Karen Parker.
Karen loved his enthusiasm and saw some potential. So she put him in agility training classes as a way to help him channel some of that tail-wagging energy. He eventually made it to the biggest show of all, Crufts.
