Russ and Judith Gallo recently adopted a dog from their local animal shelter. Her name was Zuzu and she was a two-year-old German Shepard mix.
She turned out to be a gentle and loving companion, so they knew she would be a perfect fit for their family.
They loved spending time with their new dog, and she seemed to love being with them. They took her for walks, played fetch at the local park, and even taught her a couple of new tricks.
She was the ideal dog, and fit perfectly with their family. But then they started noticing something strange she was doing.
Every night, she would sit by her parent’s bed and stare at them until they were asleep. When they woke up in the morning, she was still sitting there staring at them.
Russ and Judith didn’t think the dog was dangerous or that she was going to hurt them, but it did trouble them. What is this dog doing?
It’s understandable that it might take a little time for a dog to get used to a new family and environment, so they wanted to give her the time she needed and just help her feel like she was part of the family
