A Golden Retriever was enjoying a Barcelona street musician’s performance so much that he refused to move until the classical piece was over. It’s a testament that dogs can appreciate music just like humans.
It happened on a busy street in Barcelona, and passers-by thought it was the cutest thing ever.
The man was playing a slow, somber song on a bugle and the dog appeared to be transfixed by the music.
As soon as the performer started playing, the dog stopped and watched him. When his owner tried to get him to move on, he immediately fell to the ground. His owner tried to pull him up by tugging on his leash but the dog wouldn’t budge.
Passers-by were intrigued with the scene. Two people stopped to pet the dog, while he was sprawled out there on the ground in the city centre. But the dog seemed he couldn’t be bothered – he was too into the music.
Neil Kean was outside the famous Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia in Barcelona and filmed the entire scene on his phone.
He zoomed in on the sweet dog, and the dog was staring right at the performer as he played, his eyes unblinking in the most loving way.
When the song was done, the dog jumped up and was ready to continue his walk.
