Jennifer Bowman lives in California. She has a very social, and very curious, German shepherd named Penny living next door. The dog desperately wants to know what’s happening in Jennifer’s back yard.
But there’s a tall wooden fence between the two houses. That means the dog has to repeatedly jump as though she was on a trampoline, just to catch a glimpse. And it’s impossible to stay up in the air long enough to really see anything.
Poor dog. She’s curious as can be. She just wants to see what’s happening in Jennifer’s back yard. And it’s so difficult for her!
Jennifer is an animal lover, and she didn’t want the dog to hurt himself, so she came up with an ingenious solution.
Jennifer drilled three holes in the fence – one for the dog’s nose and two for her eyes – so she could peek through the fence and not have to keep jumping.
Now this cute dog can spy on Jennifer and her dog as much as she wants, just by looking through the peepholes. Now, the dog not only gets a great view into her neighbor’s yard, she can also enjoy the smells!
Watch this nosy dog try out her new peephole in the video below. I bet you can’t watch it without at least smiling, if not laughing.
