What happens when you pair up a cheetah cub and a puppy? In this case, they became best friends, and together they are adorable!
Metro Zoo in Richmond, Virginia was taking care of a two-week-old cheetah cub named Kumbali. He was quickly losing weight and the zookeepers determined that his mother wasn’t producing enough milk for all three of her babies.
So they pulled Kumbali from his mom and started bottle feeding him. They kept him in an incubator so he could stay warm and thrive.
Kumali did thrive, and you’d see him out and about having a great time running and playing. But he was lonely, and needed a friend.
Enter Kago. Kago was a lab-mix dog that was adopted from a pet rescue organization when he was only 10 weeks old. They introduced Kago to Kumbali and the two quickly became best friends.
The video shows their first meeting and how cute they are when they get together for the first time.
