Soon after the family and the dog arrived at Amagansett, Lou got to meet his new friend – a bulldog named Buddha. They didn’t hit it off immediately, but the family happily got more than they ever expected.
Lou was very shy at first, as expected. But it didn’t take too long before he slowly seemed to be warming up to Buddha. It was beginning to look very hopeful.
Then Lou started following Buddha around the strange new house that was going to be his forever home. Buddha became his tour guide.
Soon, Lou and Buddha became quick friends. They would lounge together outside, soaking up the rays and working on their suntans. It was a good decision to bring Lou to meet Buddha.
After giving Lou a chance to get acclimated with his surroundings at the house, they took him to the beach for the first time ever in his life. Just look at the dog admiring the view!
The family took lots and lots of pictures of him seeing the beach for the first time – after all, it was a big deal! He was so happy there on the beach feeling the warm sand beneath his paws and enjoying the sun.
Lou seemed to be clearly made to soak up the sun every day. Maybe he was born to be a beach dog!
