Meet Morgan, the 18-year-old dachshund dog.  Morgan was orphaned when his human passed away.  He was too old to be adoptable and so he was turned over to Senior Paws Sanctuary.

Senior Paws Sanctuary placed Morgan in a foster home with Kate Reidy and her 10-year-old dog Charlie.  They expected Morgan to be slower due to his age, but they were wrong.

Morgan thrived in his new foster home.  His new mom got him his own stairs to help him get up on the couch and onto the bed, and he loves to explore around the house.

He’s such a sweet dog.  He loves to cuddle and be petted, and is always checking to make sure you’re close by.  And he loves meeting new people.

Sure he loves to take naps and lounge around, but if he gets an opportunity to go outside, he’s eagerly out the door!  He loves every adventure his mom takes him on.

Morgan is as lively and playful as ever, and has a passion for life.  So Kate came up with the idea to give Morgan a bucket list and post it to Facebook, and check off his adventures to raise awareness for senior adoption.

His new Facebook friends help come up with new ideas to add to his list.
