A senior rescue dog group called Frosted Faces Foundation saw the picture and took notice! They picked the dog up from the shelter and took her to a veterinarian for a full examination. Then they placed her in a foster home.
That picture definitely garnered attention. I’d say that John’s picture was what changed everything for this dog.
Applications started pouring in to Frosted Faces Foundation. The shelter staff went through each and every one of them looking for the family that would be the best fit for the dog.
Finally, they came across Amy Gann’s application. As soon as they saw it they knew she was the right one. Amy drove to San Diego to meet the dog and it was love at first sight.
Now the dog finally has a forever home, enjoying life and feeling incredibly loved. She won’t ever have to worry about someone giving her up because she’s “too old.”
As soon as she got to her new home, Amy gave her a much-needed bubble bath.
She also got to visit the beach and feel the warmth of the sun while enjoying a delicious doggie treat.
Amy lavishes the dog with love. She holds her every chance she gets. Amy even made a sling for the dog so she can keep her close while she does her household tasks.
Once, this dog was “too old” and no longer wanted. Now she will live out the rest of her days in total happiness, as every dog should.
